First performed in 1634, the villagers of Oberammergau in Bavaria will once again perform their passion play in 2010. This incredible play commemorates the journey to Jerusalem of Christ, his death and resurrection and involves over 2000 villagers – both young and old.
Its expected over 500,000 people will attend the Passion Play which runs from May to October daily with performances starting at 1430 until 2230 (break at 1700 for dinner).

Tickets for the Passion Play 2010 are only available as part of an official package. The tickets are allocated together with the accommodation by the authorities and neither ourslves or suppliers have any control over the exact location of the seats, although we are pleased to announce that our approved tickets are all linked to excellent accommodation in Oberammergau and Ettal. Suffice to say that the higher the grade of your chosen accommodation, the better the category of your seats will be. The plan of the theatre shows the seating layout and the corresponding ticket categories.
